In 2005 Lars went to the Bristol kite festival with his camper and after the festival he went straight down to Cornwall and camped nearby Tim's workshop. With Tim just a few blocks away it was very easy to meet up and do some flying. Tim is really a amazing pilot, he haves a cool old skool style mixed with the new skool stuff. Specially the multi tricks are his cup of tea, he did a 20x roll-up (pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop ......) and a smooth lazy to unroll! very impressive. So Lars learned a lot form Tim, and Tim some from Lars more agressive style.

The workshop:
It was also very cool to see how all of his kites are born, his workshop is filled with carbons, icarex, fittings and lots of kites!! There also lots of little handy gadgets to build a kite, a special tool with to slide on fittings, a custom build carbon cutting machine, and off course a lot of steel shapes to cut out the kites. It was really nice to see Tim working on his kites, he puts so much care in building a kite, everything haves to be perfect or else he throws it away and starts over again.

The Trick or Treat DVD:
During the few day's Lars was in Cornwall he spend some hours with Richard Liddicott on the beaches of cornwall to shoot footage for the trick or treat DVD. Lars: "It was a real pleasure to work with Richard, really relaxed, no rush nice atmosphere and after the hard work to the pub for a stella".

After a few months the DVD was ready, but because of some terrible postal service in the UK we didn't see any footage before the DVD went on the market, but we trusted Richard and after we received the DVD we still trust him!! On the DVD you will see some amazing flying preformed by Tim Benson, Andy Wardley, Jason Winter and Lars all with beautiful scenery’s and relaxed soundtracks. There is also a tutorial section on the DVD where you can learn new tricks from Tim Benson.

To buy your own copy contact your local kiteshop or click on the DVD cover to visit Richard's website to order online or see the trailer.
